Coordination and engagement across all sectors of government academic institutions, non-profits, and the private industry is vital to connect consumers to affordable, reliable broadband.

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Investment in Infrastructure and Jobs Act (IIJA) have empowered states, counties, tribes, and local governments to complete major capital improvement projects, including broadband expansion.

The Broadband Office strives to maintain a fair and competitive process to distribute and maximize investment opportunities for all South Carolinians.
