Class "F" Motor Carrier
A Class F motor carrier uses a vehicle to transport hazardous waste for disposal and operates on irregular routes and schedules. Class F motor carriers have contracts for the transportation of hazardous waste and have to file and get those contracts approved by the PSC. Motor carriers are only allowed to get one Class F Certificate. Each Class F Certificate issued can have a maximum of three contracts associated with it at one time.
A Class F motor carrier must obtain a Certificate of PC&N from the ORS after approval by the PSC.
